Hello to all! Starting off, I love you all! Life is crazy so I just felt like I should let you know that you (yes you) can find peace in Christ. Anyway.
Saturday: We taught again and it went pretty well. The Elders from the "older" districts were packing tonight which was really crazy to think that they are going to the Philippines on Monday and getting there on Wednesday. Since we had Daylight Savings, they are now 15 hours ahead of us. We got new zone leaders today! It's Elders Jones and Collinwood.
Sunday: It was a good sacrament meeting. Brother Tuttle spoke and it was a great talk. It was an interesting day. I felt a little sick earlier so that wasn't the best. We had a devotional with the Lux Singers and they are like chamber choir. They were really good and shared a good message. We went to Elder Holland's "Missions are forever" which was really fun. He had an interesting perspective on missionaries and how they are the closest thing to an Apostle most of us will ever get to. I hung out with the Elders that are leaving tomorrow. We got a bunch of cool things but we are just sad they are leaving.
Monday: I was a little sick today but I powered through the day. We had TRC's again today but they went pretty well. The older elders left today. We had Kalua Pork for dinner so it kind of reminded me of home.
Tuesday: We had a workshop that was really good. Brother Eggett was awesome as always. We are singing "Let Zion in Her Beauty Rise" for Thanksgiving which is a song that I like a lot. We had Elder Stevenson and his wife come for the Devotional which was so cool. The spirit was so strong! Elder Stevenson talked about our "survival kit" which was 1. the scriptures 2. The Missionary Handbook 3. Preach My Gospel. That was really cool.
Thursday: We had Shawn, Josh, and I play basketball today which was so fun to do especially since Shawn is leaving on Monday. At lunch, I saw Cade! (Elder Thaxton) We laughed together for 30 minutes at the end of class so Brother Dustin ended class early.
Mahal Kita! (Love you)
